Labor Day Weekend!

We had to keep Hunter on his leash all weekend. He is a fast little thing and probably would have bolted for the fire if we didn't. I kind of felt bad, but would have felt worse if he had gotten hurt. He does pretty good with it as long as you "take him on a walk".

Hunter and Aunt Jaimee

We went on a walk while we were there and found this little lookout platform thing. It was really pretty! It was Hunter's nap time and he was so tired.

By the time we got back to our camp ground he was totally out. I have no idea how anyone can sleep this way, but Hunter obviously can.

Over Labor Day weekend we had the Wolfe family reunion. It was alot of fun! We went and camped out at Scout Mountain near Pocatello. I love getting together with my family. When we got there it was raining so hard. The camp host's had a family emergency and were gone and they had forgotten to unlock the gate to the group site. The only way in was hiking up the hill and there was no way I was going to unload our car from the bottom of the hill and hike it all up there. My Uncle and my cousin's husband luckily had tools with them and were able to take the gate off it's hinges. That night I made Brian come to the bathroom with me to hold the flash light. Anyone who knows me knows that I HATE out houses. When I was finished Brian and I turned around at the same time to leave and the light hit the biggest spider I have EVER seen. I think it would have tried to eat us if we stayed in there. It was eye level with us and seriously 2 cm from our faces. So in the 2 seconds the light was on it, the thing ate a moth right out of the air. It was so scary. So Brian ran out first and I was right behind him screaming bloody murder. I'm sure I woke everyone up. I have now convinced Brian in getting a camp trailer!!! Other then that little problem, it was so much fun!!

Riot Zone

Going down the slide with dad!

A few weeks ago we took Hunter to the Riot Zone. He absolutely loved every minute of it! They have a section with about 8 blow-up bouncing toys, some of them are for smaller kids and some are for bigger kids, but over all it is so much fun! We let him get some try cotton candy for the first time and he couldn't get enough of it. We all had so much fun and would recommend it to anyone with kids. It was cheap too :)

Some funny things that Hunter has done lately that I want to remember:

1. We were grocery shopping and he wanted the gold fish crackers that we were buying, so Brian opened them for him. After we got done checking out and were headed to the parking lot, Hunter turned his head to look at something and I noticed that he had put a cracker in his ear. It filled the outer ear, kind of like a hearing aid. I have no idea where he learned that.

2. I was changing Hunter's diaper and noticed a big green buggy in his nose, so I tried to get it. To my surprise it was a big green marshmallow. SICK!

3. Brian gave Hunter a chocolate chip muffin for breakfast, I know very nutritional. After I cleaned him up he was running around like normal, when he sneezed and a giant piece of muffin came shooting out his nose. I really don't get what his obsession with putting things in his nose are.

4. Today when Hunter woke up from his nap Brian went to get him and he had no diaper on. He must have taken it off before he fell asleep. He had peed all over his bed and blankets. What a little turkey!!

He is such a handful lately. I hope I don't go to crazy before this stage is over!!
