Pumpkin Patch!

On Saturday we decided it was time to buy our pumpkins. We have a family tradition to go to this pumpkin patch, it's off of Sunnyside going toward Shelley. I guess we waited to long because the pumpkins that were left we green or rotting. We still had a lot of fun, all though it was very windy. In the end we bought our pumpkins from walmart. Hunter had fun running up to every pumpkin and trying to pick them up.
THE MAZE
The people that own the pumpkin patch have also made a little maze for little kids out of hay. Hunter went right in and started walking back and forth. I was a little surprised that he walked through it, I thought that he would plop his bum down and try to eat the hay. He had so much fun and kept a smile on his face to prove it.

FINALLY!!!

Yesterday Brian received his acceptance letter into the social work program!!! We are so relieved. He will start is Jan and graduates Jan 2010. It seems like along time, but really it's not. I can't wait for him to be done with school so that he can buy me a house! I am so proud of him, he has worked so hard to get good grades. He has also been working as many hours as he can and still be at home in the evening with us. This semester he is taking all upper division classes, which makes for alot of homework and lots of studying. Congratulations Brian!!!

MY BABY CAN DANCE!!!

I couldn't pick my favorite video, so I put 2 up. For the last couple of months when Hunter hears music he begins to dance. I just think it is so cute, so I finally got a video of it.

You know your a baby when....

I'll be the first to admit that I am a baby. I am scared of the dark and I'm not afraid to admit. On Tuesday's Brian has a night class and he doesn't get home till after 8pm. I am usually fine, but tonight was a different story. Hunter and I were watching House and all of the sudden I hear someone or something scratching at my door. So I mute the T.V to make sure it wasn't my wild imagination, which unfortunately tonight it wasn't. I looked out our little peep hole and couldn't see anything, but I could still hear the scratching. We don't have anything on our door so I was beginning to freak out a little. I text messaged Brian to get his butt home, but he was giving a presentation tonight and didn't get it. I was half way tempted to call the police to come and check it out, but I figured I was making a bigger deal out of it. So I called my sister Kacie, they live like 2 minutes away. She was kind enough to come over and protect me. I would have opened the door before she got there, or even before I called her, but I have Hunter with me and I didn't want something to happen where I couldn't protect him. When she got here I finally figured out what it was. The scouts in our ward put the food drive notices on my door and with the wind it was scratching the door. So by now I felt like a total dork, but Kacie was nice about and didn't tease me to much. I'm not sure why I'm telling you all this sad story, but I figure someone will get a good laugh out it, so I guess it's worth it.

This house is so hot it's on FIRE!

This past weekend my friend Amy and I went to an over night scrap booking party in Ogden, UT. It was a ton of fun. On our way home we had to stop in Pocatello to drop off something at her brother's house. In the same neighborhood as her brothers house is this other house that has flames on it. I couldn't resist a picture. I guess the city of Pocatello told them they had to paint their house so they put flames on it. I guess they made their point.

Our Fun Weekend!

Amy and I had a blast! She has been asking me for like 3 years to come and do this with her and finally I did. We arrived at the hotel around 6 pm Friday night. We checked in with the lady who sets the party up and she gave us our room key. We were expecting 2 queen sized beds, which I was so excited for so I could spread out. Well we opened the door and saw that we had to share a king sized bed, which was ok. In high school we shared all the time, but now that we are married I won't deny that it was a little awkward at first. Ok, so we got all our scrap booking stuff all set up and we did like 1 page and then we decided it was time to eat. We found a Target and got way to many snacks, which by the way we never even opened, and ordered pizza. We stayed up to 3 am scrapin' away and laughing. The hotel offered the scrap bookers a buffet breakfast, so we woke up at 9 am for that, which was nasty! We sat in the hot tub, got massages, and scrap booked some more before we were totally exhausted and then we drove home. We were both so excited for a night away but were ready to see our hubby's and kids! I am so glad we did this, now we just have to convince our husbands to let us make this a yearly tradition!

Fall Colors

We stopped to look at a natural spring in a creek and Brian found a little water snake. He decided to pick it up to scare me, which worked out in his favor. So I hurried at took a picture. I like how it turned out.

Last Sunday we took a drive to Palisades to see all the pretty fall colors. It was so beautiful! I love this time of year. You drove around to Fall Creek, there is a hidden waterfall there, it is one of Brian's favorite places. After driving around we stopped and got some ice cream and then drove towards Victor and Driggs. We found this old house, so I decided to take a few pictures of it. I photo shopped it, what do you think? I love taking pictures of the outdoors. I just need a lot more practice.

Hunter's Birthday Party!

Hunter had an awesome party! Because our apartment is on the smaller side of things we decided to have his party at Leo's Place. We had a great turn out. He was so spoiled and loved every minute of it. As you can see I think his favorite part was the chocolate cup cakes! I am so happy we had the party at Leo's, there was room for everyone that came. I still can't believe my baby is 1. Thanks to everyone that came and for your thoughtful gifts!

Happy Birthday Hunter!!

Today is Hunter's 1st birthday. I can't believe it. It kinda makes me a little sad. He is definitely a handful. He is into everything possible, and is now trying to climb everything. He's our little monkey. He has brought so much joy into our lives. He has just started to jabber all the time. He talks to us like we understand. It's really funny to hear him jabber. He is such a good baby. He rarely cries and has always been a good sleeper. I am so grateful to Heavenly Father for giving me the opportunity to be a mother. There is no greater joy on this earth than being a mother. Happy Birthday my baby!
